For the Best Time in Eibiswald

Mountain biking, hiking, archery, and much more – boredom is nowhere to be found! You can relax and unwind on the large sunbathing lawns at the adjacent adventure pool, which is, of course, also ready for refreshing dips in the cool water.
Adventure Pool Eibiswald
The adventure pool, heated by local district heating, ensures pleasant water temperatures throughout the entire season.

The swimming season is expected to last from mid-May to mid-September. The pool is open daily from 9:00 AM to 7:00 PM, depending on weather conditions.
As an Ölspur-Camping guest, you receive discounted entry prices (50% off the day ticket: €2.50 for adults).
Access from the campsite is possible at any time through a separate entrance after purchasing a day ticket.

Hiking
The southern West Styria region requires time and leisure. After all, it is much more enjoyable to explore the area at a slower pace.
For example, by hiking, which is widely available throughout the region.
Wine hiking, alpine hiking, and literature-themed hiking are just as appealing as cross-border hiking.
The region is also an ideal starting point for multi-stage tours, such as the Koralm Crystal Trail, the Border Panorama Trail, or the Mariazell Trail.

Cycling/Mountain Biking
The Southwest Styria is a unique part of Styria in many ways, not least because of its landscape and climate. Under the influence of high-pressure areas, which particularly move in from the Adriatic in autumn, the weather here is much milder than in the rest of Austria. This climate, with nearly 300 days of sunshine, makes the mountain biking season possible almost year-round, while other regions have to settle for a much shorter season.
What our beautiful region offers are not difficult trails. However, there are nearly 40 panoramic tours at their finest, some of which even lead into neighboring Slovenia. All the routes are a mix of breathtaking landscapes, culture, and culinary delights, which open up all the senses to the biker, in addition to the physical challenge.

Pumptrack & Dirtpark
Right next to our beautiful Ölspur Campsite, there's a real highlight for everyone who wants to train balance, strength, and endurance in a playful way: the 3Eiben Pumptrack and the Dirtpark. Whether young or old, beginners or advanced – here, every generation can find their ideal terrain.
A Pumptrack is a circuit made up of waves, berms, and jumps, which can be ridden with bicycles, skateboards, scooters, or inline skates just by shifting your weight – known as “pumping.” This means building speed without having to pedal. A safe, varied, and, most importantly, fun riding experience is guaranteed!
On around 2,000 m², the area offers:
- Children’s course for the first laps,
- Flowline for smooth lines and curves,
- Jumpline for those who want to go higher,
- the Dirtpark – perfect for more advanced jumps and tricks.
And the best part? It's free to use!
Whether with BMX, mountain bike, or skateboard – the 3Eiben Pumptrack and Dirtpark offer practically unlimited possibilities to burn off energy, learn new things, and have a lot of fun. This project was initiated by the Municipality of Eibiswald with Mayor Andreas Thürschweller to delight both young and old.
So, put on your helmet, grab your gear, and start pumping – or try some cool jumps in the Dirtpark – right next to our campsite!
Generations Park Eibiswald
Right next to our beautiful Ölspur Campsite, the new Generations Park Eibiswald invites you to exercise, relax, and have fun outdoors. A place that connects young and old and offers something for every age group.
The modern facility offers numerous highlights:
- the Ninja Warrior Park for those who want to train agility and strength,
- the Calisthenics Park for outdoor workouts,
- a cozy walking path through the Naschgarten, perfect for relaxing strolls,
- Water games and a large sandbox for fun and play for the little ones.
The Generations Park is not only a great addition to Eibiswald, but also a place that promotes active recreation and community. Whether you want to challenge yourself physically, spend time with family, or simply enjoy nature – there's something for everyone here.
With its idyllic location and versatile offerings, the Generations Park is the perfect meeting point for movement, fun, and relaxation – for visitors of all ages.

Kids Bike-Park
On the outskirts of Eibiswald, in the idyllic Bürgerwald and in close proximity to the Ölspur Campsite, the 3Eiben Kids Bike-Park awaits young mountain bike enthusiasts. A place where fun riding, nature experiences, and athletic challenges come together perfectly.
The park offers varied tracks for every age and skill level:
- The “Let it flow” Flowtrail thrills with steep corners, waves, and ramps,
- The “Blueberry Single Trail” offers three downhill variants for added variety,
- The “Sumsi Technical Course” powered by Raiffeisenbank Süd-Weststeiermark in the “Sumsi Wood” is perfect for training balance and riding technique in a playful way.
For short breaks, benches and tables are available – ideal for enjoying nature and gathering strength for the next round.
The 3Eiben Kids Bike-Park is open daily from sunrise to sunset and is free to use. A big thank you goes to the Municipality of Eibiswald, the Radclub Eibiswald, and all the helpers, sponsors, and companies who made this fantastic project possible.

Tennis
Located in the heart of Eibiswald, the TC Eibiswald operates four beautifully situated clay courts, which are easily visible to spectators. The club also runs its own clubhouse, where you can choose from a wide range of chilled drinks, which are almost sold at cost price.
The covered terrace invites you to relax even during the hot season. Of course, the club also provides an internal coach upon request for lessons or training sessions.
Archery
On a forest area of about 20 hectares, the Siebernegg family offers you a fantastic archery course that leaves nothing to be desired. There are 33 animal stations and a shooting range. The course is interesting, varied, and promises pure recreational enjoyment.

Gym
Also just a few minutes' walk from the campsite, you'll find a modern gym. At Physiosport, Ölspur campers can get a day pass for EUR 12.00, which includes one free electrolyte drink. An appointment is absolutely required.
